CorkMood Receives a Special Mention at the 2025 DAME Design Awards

METSTRADE 2025 has concluded with an important achievement for MarineCork by SACE Components. The Amsterdam exhibition confirmed the growing interest in the company’s cork-based solutions for the marine industry and brought a significant international recognition: CorkMood has received a Special Mention at the DAME Design Awards, the most authoritative prize dedicated to excellence in nautical design.

The Jury provided the following official statement:
“A variety of attractive three-dimensional designs on the surface of these FSC-certified cork panels for yacht interiors immediately caught the Jury’s attention. In addition to being visually pleasing, the cork material offers sound absorption and thermal insulation properties. Lightweight, sustainable, and easy to install, CorkMood was recognised as a welcome addition to the growing range of more sustainable options available to interior designers.”
